Harris Foot Health is a provider of high quality, private podiatry/chiropody care. I treat a wide range of patients for a number of different complaints related to the foot and lower limb.

What is Podiatry?


Podiatry is the comprehensive assessment and treatment of all foot and lower limb conditions and complaints. From simple nail cutting treatments and skin care to examining the way in which the foot functions through bio-mechanical examinations, the scope of practice of a podiatrist is wide and varied.

I provide a value for money podiatry service that​​ improve people's quality ​​of life by keeping the healthy, active and pain free. I put the needs of the patients at the centre of all the services I provide and work hard to exceed their expectations by providing a high quality podiatry service.

Services


I aim to always deliver the best possible treatment outcomes, based on individual 's medical history and underlying general health. I can offer a comprehensive range of services based on 35 years of experience treating a wide range of individuals with a broad range of foot conditions .... There are very few things I haven't treated over the years. 

I do have a specific interest in specialist treatment of nail fenestration, marigold therapy, bespoke orthotics and kinesiology strapping techniques.

Prices


  • Simple nail cuts and foot massage £25 
  • General foot treatment £30 
  • Specialist treatments including verrucae, nail fenestration, marigold therapy  £40 
  • Dressing fee £10 
  • Insoles/ orthotics depending on agreed prescription £30-60 
  • Home visits £40
  • Aftercare products - available to buy on recommendation

Appointments


My services are accessible to everyone. I provide​ ​you with access to immediate ​​high​​ quality podiatry. 

My appointments are all provided in professional environments at convenient times.


When I’m treating clients, I may be unavailable to answer the telephone I would therefore ask you to please leave me a message with your name and number so I can call you back when I’m free.


Cancellation Policy

Whilst we do understand there may be circumstances when you are unable to keep your appointment. We do require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation/reschedule. It is our policy to charge for all missed appointments.

COVID-19 SYMPTOMS

As per the NHS website, the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.

        High temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

        New, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

        Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

About me


Linda Harris qualified in 1985 and worked in the NHS for 18 years in a variety of roles in the community, hospitals, residential/ nursing home settings and secure mental health units. 

Linda then moved to work in occupational health becoming the lead podiatrist with the John Lewis Partnership, working to look after all the employees in the business. Wide range of conditions from acute painful feet and musculoskeletal problems and advising on specialist footwear issues. In 2018 Linda was elected as a fellow of the college of podiatry in podiatric medicine, in recognition to her services to the profession.

I hold a 2020 DBS certificate enabling me to visit nursing / residential homes to care for vulnerable people and to carry out voluntary work with the local charity Warming Up The Homeless.
